Several Applications are normally considered at together by a panel of music experts. We may be able to tell you when the next meeting of the panel takes place - please try to ensure that your application reaches us well in advance of that meeting.

Please complete as many sections of this form as apply to your project. We do understand that many questions may not seem to apply to all applications, so do not be discouraged by those questions. The notes against some of the questions which indicate the sort of information we are looking for, please give us as much of that information as you can.
If you have not yet confirmed any of the details (such as the dates and venues), we would appreciate it if you simply said so and then wrote an example of the sort of detail you woud be hoping to include if we agreed to fund your project.

We realise that you may not have all the costs available, and certainly won't know your income on the door of an event. Rather than leave figures blank, please fill in your best estimate and write est. after the amount.

If there is a figure which will fall somewhere in a range of amounts, you could write the range (eg £200 - £400) and when adding the column you could use the average of the two extremes (in that example, the average would be £300). It is important that you show us how the Breaking Borders grant would be used, so your detailed costs are important to us.

If you are successful, we will insist on three fixed conditions, and possibly some special conditions as well.

The fixed conditions will be :-
1. you must include the logos of the funding bodies on your publicity materials.
We can supply you with these img on discs formatted for PCs or for MACs. Examples are printed below.

2. You must advise us of the dates, times and venues of all the funded performances.

3. after the tour, you must give us figures of the actual budget for the tour, (which may be quite different from the budget supplied in this application), and your assessment of the audience figures at each performance.
For each performance, we will want to know :
- the venue capacity,
- how many people actually attended
- (how many payers and how many comps or other free admissions),
- what the ticket prices were,
- your impression of how your marketing affected the audience turn-out,
- the venue manager's assessment of your event and your promotion.
